The Observatory issued only an amber rainstorm signal and a thunderstorm warning.

天文台在上午八時四十五分發出黃色暴雨警告，並於下午二時三十五分改掛紅色暴雨警告。天文台在下午十時除下所有暴雨警告訊號。
The amber rainstorm warning was issued at 8.45am and was upgraded to red at 2.35pm. The warnings were dropped at 10pm.


天文台在雨勢最大的鄉郊地區錄得超過二百毫米雨量紀錄。
The Hong Kong Observatory recorded rainfall of more than 200mm in the worst-hit rural areas.


天文台於周五下午早段除下八號風球。
The No 8 signal came down early on Friday afternoon.


天文台表示在上午一時至三時間共錄得4,593次閃電。
The Observatory said there were 4,593 lightning strikes between 1am and 3am.


天文台懸掛十號風球十一小時後，才在下午五時四十五分改掛八號風球。
By the time the No.10 signal was replaced by a No.8 at 5.45pm, it had been in force for 11 hours.
